From a return to normal after Covid19, Star Festival wanted to attract a new audience to their annual music event - which includes camping, day & night performances from global DJ's, and a unique setting in Kyoto's deep forests.
With a unique selling point of a festival in the forest - we drove interest by targeting new post-covid camping enthusiasts & in bound tourists rather than just music festival go-ers. With a small budget of $1500 we drove 230,000 video plays to increase awareness 3 weeks before the festival - followed by a Click through campaign to the website. We drove 5983 direct to purchase clicks with a cost-per click of $0.11 - $0.13 USD in Japan.
