Australian artist Yorke gained strong organic buzz for her song 'Window Shopping' - which landed on various radio outlets in Japan, and was used by the famous Japanese group 'Indigo la End' for their opening music. With a trip to Japan, Geezerbuild was asked to help with digital and social media strategy to enter the market, and execute a short promotion plan to build awareness in Japan.

Result

We executed a localized awareness strategy combining brand infrastructure development and paid media. We developed bilingual artist profiles and a one-page website consolidating Yorke’s bio and releases, establishing a professional and accessible digital foundation for Japanese fans, media, and potential partners, positioning her for scalable expansion in the region. Instagram ads were launched targeting Japan, promoting Yorke’s Reel and directing audiences to a Japanese-language landing page featuring her profile and release details. The campaign delivered 214,000 impressions and 21,000 engagements, meeting projected KPIs and validating early audience interest in the market.
